    My earlobes

So, many know that along with my tattoos, I have stretched ear lobes. For about a year I've been feeling the desire to decrease the circumfrance of them, but didn't want to go through the hassle of walking around with nothing in the, as well as not knowing how much they would "shrink."

At my largest size, which I stayed with until a couple of months ago, my earlobes held 1.5" plugs. I am now down to as small as they seem to want to go, which is 3/4"... "half." I'm pretty satisfied, as "half" is what I was hoping to achieve.

    Why?

Just decided I didn't want them so big any longer. Nothing more, nothing less... eh well... figuratively...

Congratulations! Is that the right thing to say. It's actually kind of interesting. My niecephew, over in N. M., has stretched lobes, but not as stretched as your's sound to be. She has piercings all overher ears, though. She also has tatoos.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

    Do your ears hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie 'em in a knot?
Can you tie 'em in a bow?
Can you throw them over your shoulder
    like a Continental Soldier?
    Do your ears hang low?

    That was brilliant O'Neille!

Odd thing is that I've had that tune in my head all weekend!

    Looks pretty good.
I tend to prefer the look of smaller stretched lobes, so that's no surprise.

I'm glad you managed to get them shrunk so much.

I can understand what you are saying TB. I had my earlobes stretch, though not nearly as far as yours, and now I dont wear anything at all in them. I guess style choices change! It is amazing how the human body will repair itself.

Stretched lobes are one of the few piercings that I'm not a huge fan of, but I definitely think yours look better with the smaller plugs. They seem to fit the geometry of your head better.

They "shrunk" about all they're going to. So, I'm pretty much where I'm gonna be without corrective surgery. I'm happy with where they're at now.
