X Marks Clan Crest Badge available now
Hear ye, Hear ye. All the kilted Rabble.
We have received a price quote on the X Marks Clan Crest Badge and are ready to proceed ordering and getting them out to all who want one.
The quote included the R&D and tooling costs so the best way to keep the price reasonable is to place an order for a minimum of 100 badges.
We thought that we would make sure that enough people would be willing to place an order now for the badges, so we are posting this poll.
The price per badge will be $28.37 usd or $28.83 cdn or 18.10 euro.
This price includes shipping to anywhere within Continental N. America.
Please make your selection on this poll so we will know that there will be enough confirmed orders to begin casting.
If there are enough of you who will commit to ordering I will begin to take orders and taking money. We will handle this the same way we do the X Marks Tartan fabric. I will ask you to send me an e-mail with your order. I will then send you an invoice and await your payment. When, and only when, we have 100 orders will we tell the manufacturer to start casting the badges.
Most of you have seen the design for the X Marks Clan Crest Badge but in case you have forgotten here is the design.

These badges will be produced by Gaelic Themes in Scotland. They will be made from pewter and have a normal Clan Crest pin fastener.
Here is what kind of quality we are talking about. This is a normal Gaelic Themes badge. Ours will be of the same high quality.

One of the added benefits of having Gaelic Themes produce our Clan Crest Badge is they are authorized by the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs to produce the only Official Clan Crests and our design will carry the same Copyright protection as any other Clan Crest manufactured by them.
We will also retain the rights to the design and may be licensed to produce other products using our Clan Crest.
I will keep this poll open for 7 days. Please make your selection as soon as you can.

Would these work as kilt pins? I don't wear a scottish cap, so would have no need of it for that use.

I have used them as a kilt pin. I have also pinned them to the front of my sporran, my kilt carrier, anything. They are nice and heavy. 1.2 oz. or 30 grams to be exact.

Looks Great Steve. I'm in for at least one. I wonder if they would be heavy/big enough for a brooch for my XMTS tartan fly plaid?
Thanks for your work on this!
Cheers

Fine work there, Steve!
Not exactly sure how I'll use it, but hey, gotta support the clan, right?
So, count on me for one; I'm sure I'll have no trouble putting it to good use.
Thanks for making this happen!
