I am now a convert!!!
Today I wore my kilt to work to celebrate a belated Tartan Day. It was the first time I have been able to wear my new 16 oz tank for any length of time. I LOVED IT. The swing is much more pronounced. The office heat is broken and the temps reached 80 degrees in the old workplace. I was fine. Even after 8 hours of being a desk jockey the pleats were still crisp.
That's it I will continue to save my pennies for good wool material from now on, it is so worth it!!
Humm I wonder if I am a kilt snob now??![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Congratulations. I've also noticed that wool holds it's pleats quite well.
Mine is just 13 Oz wool, though.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I love it!!
Pretty hard to say that a 16 ounce is anything but top quality if someone was gonna hassle you for wearing a kilt.
Welcome to the deep core of kilt addiction. Now you know why I have 9 hand sewns with #10 due any day and #11 on order...
