Kilt Night NYC
Ok since the last kilt night was not a big turnout. And since the weather is finaly nice most of the time how about a kilt night, before the end of May at the http://www.bohemianhall.com/home.htm
It is kid friendly if anyone wants to bring the little ones. The food is outstanding, and if you like German beer, they have a very good selections.

Would Saturday the 24th work for people? It is a place where one needs to be there early, no?

That's the "N" train, right?

Yes take the N train. They open at 12:00 on sat so the early part of the day would be best. Once it gets late in the day it fills up and the have long lines.

Hello, my friendly X-Marker New-Yorkers. Unfortunately, my June trip to Manhattan, that I was so-o-o-o looking forward to and had been doing annually for the past 12 years, has been cancelled in the interests of saving on expenses. Modern technology provides that I can still assist my New York colleagues via remote access. But, I was very much looking forward to whatever kilt night was planned at the St. Andrews Pub & Restaurant. Perhaps another day, another year, and another circumstance.

Hrm... That sounds like fun.

I've been wanting to get out to that restaurant. The 24th should work fine. Are we talking lunch or afternoon drinks/dinner?

And this shall be for music, when no one else is near; The fine song for singing, the rare song to hear; That only I remember, that only you admire; Of the broad road that stretches and the roadside fire. (RL Stevenson)
