    Shipmodeling in a Kilt

    Hallo,
we had holiday last thursday in germany and I took the chance to visit a meeting of teammembers of a german forum of shipmodelbuilders. I am a member there for several years now.It has been a very nice kilted weekend

At the first picture you can see two of my model in the back on a table. Ursus an italian habour tug and Hans Lüken a german recue vessel.

and here you can see my rescue DUKW us amphibium truck

Very nice kilt and the models look fantastic! I especially like the DUKW. I got to drive one a few years ago and it was an experience!

Looks like fun! And it's always a good day when you can combine interests.

It is always nice to meet a fellow modeler. My thing is sailing ships and diesel submarines.

Is the DUKW model fully amphibian?

Hello, Günter. I used to build model cars; so, shipmodel-building looks like fun, too. Did you get many questions or comments about the kilt?

Very nice, Gunter. I particularly like the canvas (?) cover.
