    Waistcoats and Vests

I've long been on the lookout for a more contemporary vest/waistcoat to wear with my Mocker UKs...I'm thinking I like These and These.

What I DON'T want is a cheap acetate backed vest. These look a bit more tailored and many have full backs in the same colour/pattern or full backs in black cotton.

    Anyone have any other sources?

The short waisted ones in that group would probably go fine with a kilt. Although if you wear your UK at your trouser waist, you could probably just go with a full-length vest.

I am a big fan of those styles of vests. I wear that sort of thing fairly often. They work well with tartan kilts and solids.

    Go for it!

I thought this photo was appropriate...this is the kind of vest I always wear.

I wear a wool vest from Filson almost the entire winter while I'm out surveying. They have a couple of different styles and are without a doubt the most durable and comfortable vest I have ever worn.
