Guitar Hero Aerosmith
Hey yall,
The new Guitar Hero expansion, known as Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, comes out on Sunday June 29, and I know I'm going to buy it. I LOVE AEROSMITH! I saw them live here in Greenville when I was in middle school, and I'd love to see them again.
So all you Guitar Hero and Aerosmith fans out there, which Aerosmith songs are you most excited to play? And If you don't like Guitar Hero, just shout out your love for the boys from Boston and their legendary career.

I don't play the game, but they don't really have a song I don't like. Janies Got A Gun might be my favorite.

I don't really like Aerosmith, but I love Rock Band. I'm almost through the "Hard" tour.

I like the band and have a few of their albums (my favorite song being "Rag Doll") I have only tried Guitar Hero once. I found that I don't like being booed by a videogame. If I want that kind of criticism, as a Moderator I can just check into XMTS!
Cheers

I've had it preordered since they announced it.
Don't forget about Guitar Hero 4: World Tour sometime late this year either. ;)
And for teasing purposes.....Rumor has it both Guitar Hero and Rock Band are in negotiations to bring a Beatles only game.

Oh man, I can't wait for Guitar Hero 4, but as for Beatles only game, i'd hate that, for I really don't like the Beatles. Sorry if I've just offended anyone, but they just don't do it for me.

I'm not offended; just curious: what Beatles songs do you know? I feel that most people who dismiss them think of them as the four guys in suits and forget about all the music they made after "Help!" etc. Their body of work is so diverse, I figure everyone must like at least one of their songs...
Maybe Helter Skelter's right for you?

I want!
I've played GH I,II, and III - all on other friend's machines, though. And all along, I've been saying over and over that I wanted an Aerosmith version of the game. Now it's coming out, and I don't have a console!!
As for my favourite song: that's a tough one. "Last child" was on GH III (I think), but I'd be keen to see "Dream on", "Walk this way", "Eat the rich" and most definitely "Don't get mad, get even"!
Unfortunately I can't see a console anytime soon in my future... as it is, I'm waiting till I stop losing weight before I buy any kilts (that's bad enough, isn't it?).
cheers

I mena I've heard many Beatles songs, maybe not as many as others have, b/c I've never been a fan. But I just can't get into their music. I don't think it revolutionized rock n roll as much as everyone claims. I mean so many other bands have made Rock what it is without the Beatles help. Plus I can't stand John Lennon, he was a drugged up moron. I still think Elvis Presley made rock n roll big, and that motown and blues influenced rock more than the Beatles. I love Elvis, the Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Jerry Lee Lewis "the Killer", and many others. Also, I think bands like the Rolling Stones were much more influential on the evolution of rock than the Beatles. The Beatles were huge, but I don't think they were that great in terms of a rock n roll band, maybe they popularized pop, but not rock.
