meeting kilties
Hi everyone!
Ok, this is a little off-beat, but please bear with me. Y'see, I was out at a restaurant tonight with my wife and three other ladies, and the subject of men in kilts came up. So, on their behalf (sort of), I'll ask everyone here:
How or where can a single woman meet a single kilted man? How can these intelligent, articulate women find a guy in a kilt? Enquiring minds wish to know.
cheers

How about joining here and posting a request to get to know SKMs? That would be "Single Kilted Men".

I was thinking they could join here, keep an eye open for a kilt night in their area, then ask if they would be welcomed at said kilt night. I have a few friends who are planning to do this so they can delve into our culture.

They might wish to try joining up with a local Caledonia Club or other Scottish Society, or sign up for Scottish Country Dance classes.

Or wear kilted skirts regularly. I'm sure SKMs take note.

Join Match.com or Yahoo.com or a large Internet personals/meet site then search for kilt or kilts or kilted with their search engine. They'll get a list of guys who've mentioned kilts in their profile.
I've done the reverse and turned up over 100 women who mention kilts in their profiles.
You can also search for things like Celtic, Scottish, Highland Games, bagpipes, etc.
Some lovely lasses when I search. Would guess the men would be there too.
And for sure attend their local highland games and functions.

I think the kilt night suggestion is great. We just had one in Chicago yesterday (photos are coming) and would have welcomed the presence of some lovely ladies.
One funny story - six of us were walking from one pub to another and a smartass yells out, "where are the bagpipes." In unison, the six of us replied, "under the kilt, want to give 'em a blow?" That's what happens when you hang around here too much.
BTW the other participants were Brewboy, KiltedCoder, Glen_C, Auld Argonian, and, all the way from Arizona - Retro Red
