    Kilt belt clasp

Does anyone know where I can purchase the clasp used in the kilt belt? Bulk would be great.

Make one. By the metal or brass rings from a craft store and bend them into shape.

I'd like to use that as a last resort if I can. They must be available somewhere?

If you mean the round brass ones you can get them from Tandy Leather Factory.

I'm talking about the silver piece of metal that connects the belt to the buckle. The only piece of metal showing in the pic above. Anyone, anyone?

If by bulk you mean 5000 I'd start looking for a manufacturer in China. Otherwise you'll be better off making your own.

I did a web search and you may want to try:

    http://www.albest.com/product.asp?Fu...Buckles&Page=1

They may not have that exact item but may be able to help you find what you are looking for.

If you could get only the right half of this buckle it might work:

    http://www.aplusproducts.net/products_one.cfm?id=462

    These people http://nationalwebbing.rtrk.com/?sci.../web-belts.htm say:

"NWP's experienced staff of production design people are ready to match or make any type of web and buckle you desire - all materials and processes are at your disposal. Let us give you a few ideas and a quotation on your next project."

What will it hurt to ask?

If you see abbreviations, initials or acronyms you do not know the Xmarks FAQ section on abbreviations may help.
