I have driven through Burntisland several times en-route from Edinburgh to St.Andrews or Kellie Castle, but one thing always puzzles me: is the town called Burnt-island or Burntis-land?

I loved that view across the Forth to Auld Reekie!
I used to go through Burntisland many times on the train but never got off.

Great pictures, Alex,of a part of Scotland I know nothing about.I cannot help but say,the gentleman wearing the Panama hat looks just the ticket.A perfect combination of,sun(in Scotland?),kilt and elegance.
