    Kilting for Coffee

I think I might've just gotten a free coffee upgrade as a result of a kilt.

Having recently acquired a few gift cards to a local coffee shop, and a new tartan kilt, I went out with both to grab a small coffee. I got there, placed my order, then watched and waited as the people ahead of me got their orders. After a few moments passed, a young woman who was making the drinks put out a drink that was essentially what I ordered, but was one size larger. I waited a moment, then asked her if a small was in the works. She said there was, but that it was for the person behind me. She then smiled and said that the larger-sized coffee was mine!

I did end up checking my receipt, and I definitely ordered a smaller size. I'm not 100% sure if the kilt did it, but I may have to try that coffee shop again at some point. :-)

To note, the kilt was a USA Kilts semi-traditional, Prince of Wales tartan. It's awesome.

It'll take lots of free drinks and upgrades to pay off the price, but I get the satisfaction out of it.

Forget her number, which shop was it? I could use a larger coffee when I'm up there.

I must be devastatingly handsome, because I have been getting a free coffee from my local shop every week or so and I have yet to go in kilted.

It probably had less to do with the attire and more to do with the confidence of the man. Clothes are clothes, but a man that exudes confidence (which it takes to wear a kilt) can't be beaten.

    Enjoy the coffee.

Kilts and coffee go hand in hand. I know from my own experience, as Colin said it is a confidence thing.
