US Army tartan thread count?
I've been trying to find the thread count of the Army tartan with out much luck. My google-fu seems weak today. I am wanting to play around with a Airborne tartan based off of it. Does anyone know what it is?

I have no idea on the thread count. BUT, just my thoughts, you GOTTA have maroon worked in there somewhere.

From the Scottish Tartans Authority:
Thread Count: B12K34TK8G102DY6WG8DY6G102TK8K34
Where:
B=blue
K=black
TK=khaki
DY=dark yellow (gold)
WG=olive

Thanks, Barb. I've been fiddling about with the tartan generator, here http://www.weddslist.com/cgi-bin/tar...g.pl?source=rb, but that thread count isn't working with this. I'll mess about a bit more.

A "Field Artillery" version with a red stripe would also be cool! 'Course then I'd have to buy another kilt...!

Hehehe, thanks again, Barb. I was about to ask the "code" for that. I've been dismayed to learn that, depending on which set of patterns one uses there, the colors seem to change!

That could work for the ADA as well (both are scarlet.)
