I'd like the opinion of you vets out there
I chose to serve my country by by helping to produce the finest weapons we can provide for our brave soldiers. Currently I'm working on guided artillery.
I recently had the chance to speak with a gunnery sargeant who told me he helped save at least 200 lives by using the weapon system I'm working on. I left that meeting walking 3 ft off the ground. It's a rare event for me to know that the work I do makes a difference.
Lately I've noticed all kinds of threads, new and old, that allow members of the US armed forces to embrace their service and wear tartans celebrating the Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force. I don't pretend to think that my efforts are equal to the soldiers that face comabt, but nonetheless I'm proud of my work and would like a way to celebrate it. I doubt that there are "Defense Contractor" tartans out there, what would be a good way show my pride for what I do?
Thanks in advance
Rich
