SWK Dress Sporrans

Hey yall,

I noticed that SWK has fur dress sporrans up for sale now. And I was wondering if any of you have bought one yet? Do yall think they'd be worth it? Or should I just spend the extra money on a dress sporran from someone else. If anyone has any input or suggestions on affordable dress sporrans I'd really like to hear them.

You know, the description sounds like they are a cantle mounted version of the fur day sporrans they had a while back. I have one of those, and they are pretty good.

For the price, sounds like a good deal. Guess it all depends on how often you go to formal events and so on.

That brown fur with brass cantle is a little different... Guess it would go with the brown belt with brass waistplate buckle they have there.

BTW, you asked for other sources of dress sporrans with the cantle. You might look at the econemy fur sporrans at Celtic Croft. They are a bit higher in price, but still in that price range. The only thing is that there are options for black fur with white fur tastles and so on. They aren't exactly the same sporrans as at SWK.

Supporting sponsors is a good thing. There are also suppliers of very similar product at lower prices (such as this eBay store where I purchased a sporran long before finding this forum). If you have the money to spare to support a sponsor, great. If the price is preventing you from buying at all, then I can heartily recommend the linked seller.

I recently bought a belt and Marine Corps buckle from SWK for my father.

I thought the black fur dress sporran was rather nice.
