Tuscon Arizona Celtic Festival Nov 1-2
The Tuscon Celtic Festival is coming up in a few weeks and a few of the Sonoran Scotsmen are heading down to the games on Saturday to enjoy the festivities. My girlfriend and I actually have a hotel room in Tuscon on Saturday night and are going to check out Kartchner Caverns on Sunday. Anyways, who all is planning on attending on Saturday at the games, and would anyone like to meet up at the games, and later at a local pub for some pints?

Also for anyone that's been to Kartchner Caverns,, there are two tours supposedly, which one is better? We may only have time for one of them, that's why I ask.

usually we all head down to the alud Dubliner after the games. you litterally head south on first Ave. till you get to euclid and park in the garage behind the pub. very kilt friendly.
but sadly I found out last night they are doing away with the Irish music they normally play on the stereo.....not bringing in enough $$ supposedly. I'm told that every once in a while they will play it but not on an everyday basis anymore.
concidering I will usually drop at least a bill there when I go I find that hard to believe.
I guess they ( management) want more of the college crowd to come in......yay.....
see ya @ the games!

Ayin, if you can do both try to make the time, if not the rotunda/throne room with the Kubla Khan is awesome. Since the Big room is closed certain times of the year to allow the bats to play some Barry White music, many people never get to see that part of the caverns, so there is that aspect.

Its on my list, but its a looooong way down and back for this aged kiltie. We'll see.
The way the wind has been blowing for the past two days the Tucson games may be in El Paso....

However I did pick up a gig for that weekend so I'll be making money.
