Greetings from Upstate NY
I found this forum a while back and decided it is finally time to join.
I'm a college student at Colgate Divinity School working on a MDiv and I've just ordered my first sportkilt in the clergy tartan in hopefully the right size, should find out on fri. I've also ordered 8 yards from fraser and kirkbright to attempt to make my own, it won't be the first thing I've ever sewn so it shouldn't go too badly.
The name is from my tendency to modify old volvos which is my other passion, I have a 91 240 that has recently been turboed and put on a weight loss program and will do the quarter mile in 14seconds. Current project is a 79 262c which is a 2 door 240 with a factory chop top and a v6, should have 400hp when finished and custom suspension and brakes to handle the extra.

Welcome from Flagstaff, AZ. I used to live in Binghamton, NY (Southern tier). I would take retreats at Colgate. I got my M.Div at Fuller Seminary in CA, though. I'm trying to decide which clergy tartan to get myself. Let us know how you like the Sportkilt--and post a picture. Pax.

Welcome from baltimore, maryland. I don't think that too many clergymen are also gearheads. You are the first one i've heard of.
