Kinsman, Jim Malcolm has been nominated for Scots Singer of the Year for the Scots Trad Music Awards. Jim has gone solo, being previously with Old Blind Dogs. The decision is made by public voting so you can vote for Jim here. You don’t have to vote in every category.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jim, wife Susie and family this summer at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games and Festival. I’m looking forward hearing him again when he comes to Alexandria, VA later this month.

I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing Jim at a microbrewery/restaurant here in Tapioca. Really, really good stuff. Run -- don't walk -- to see this terrific entertainer, if you have the chance.
