    Yes, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Some would recommend more scholar books on the Scots Irish such as James Leyburn’s, which I would read and found educational. I appreciated Webb’s family ties/stories to what he writes about. I read it before he reappeared on the political scene to become Senator of Virginia. I remembered him from the Regan administration when he was Secretary of Navy. Some political commentators were saying then he would run for President one day. But I digress.
