    First try at sporran making

    This is my first try at making a sporran. It's all hand sewn and I used deer antler for the fastener and decorative bits on the laces. There a few more pics on my website.

    Nice, I hope to make my first one this week sometime, hope it comes out well, since I've spent $40 on the fabric, but I hope the reason will be clear in the final product....

    Nicely done. That should hang well from the belt. I can't tell from the pix, but did you use a stiffener on the front panel and the flap?
