I have been DROPKICKED!
Some of you may know and some not but I was at one time in my life a professional wrestler, so I have been dropkicked numerous times.
But after reading many posts by the rabble I directed my Zune software on over to the page containing the music of Dropkick Murphys. WOW!
I have always had a secret punkrocker in side, I have always liked Green Day but what I heard out of the Murphys' is like the Sex Pistols and a pipeband mixed. I am now a fan of Dropkick Murphys.
So to the Rabble I say thanks for this exciting addition to my MP3 player.

TKR

that happened to me to, I only have 'the gangs all here' but most of that CD is on my MP3 player. (I listen to it when I am doing dishes)
I am kinda wanting to see their Indy show, but it's kinda far for that time of the year for me.

TKR,
I piped a wedding here in Memphis where the best man was Johnny Rotten.
He dressed oddly enough, but conducted himself normally.

Hello TKR,
If you like DKM then you'd love The Real McKenzies. It is said that it was them that inspired DKM. Where DKM is sporting their Irish Pride, TRM is all about all things Scottish and of course good times and good people. If they come to a location near you, GO SEE THEM it's well worth it. All are always welcome unlike some venues (I know I've played in many punk bands throughout the years since the mid 80's and some crowds just don't mix well with others at times) young, old, punk, conservative, rich, poor, and everything in between all will have a great time at their shows and don't forget to wear your kilt. All members of The Real McKenzies wear kilts. Flogging Molly is wonderful as well. Flatfoot 56 is another good one with the Highland Pipes added to some good old punkity rockity. In fact there is alot of great bands out there fuseing their Celtic roots with some kick *** music. Some bands are even singing all their lyrics in Gaelic. It sounds like you're starting off slowly (which is great, it gives you a chance to understand the music and what the fellows playing the instruments are all about), but when you've had a chance to digest these bands let me know what you think. I'll send some more names of bands your way that you might like based on what you thought of these. Enjoy the music and I'll talk with you soon.

Yes, welcome to the club. Those guys are awesome!
I always enjoyed listening to shitenonions.com but can't seem to find a link on there to listen to their cast anymore. Cool links on that site regardless.
