Winter Wonderland

Got tired of icing down the knee so I went out to finish the cigar started earlier today. Most of the shots are looking Southwest toward what's called "The Hogback". I shot them off the back porch. We have been experiencing a condition called an inversion that looks like smog and usually the air quality is very good at 7000+ ft.

We've gotten about 20+ inches of snow since the Holidays, more higher up and the ski areas are very happy. A boon to skiers and boarders, a bane to gimpy kneed kilties.

Look at it this way....all that snow is gonna melt, it'll wind up in the river and the trout will be happy and multiply. **wink**

We never see that much snow in the Southeast. It is nice to see it without feeling the cold.

Nice kilt. As for the snow---lovely to look at. Even lovelier not having to shovel it. (From a transplanted Buckeye enjoying the "Winter" in Charlotte.)
