Just got tickets for my nephew and I. I'll be kilted in my Irish National of course. Anyone else going?

This concert was effin' awesome!! My nephew and I got up into the first row and was just intense. First, it's been a long time since I've been to a good hard concert, so it took a little while to get use to the mosh pit again. I think I'm getting a little too old for that now. Anyway, I wore the Irish National with my new Wyvern Leatherworks sporran (no I didn't get any pics) and it all held up very well.
I got quite a few comments on the kilt. I only saw like three or four others wearing one. I only had "the question" asked twice. One by one of the security guys who, after I answered, said if I crowd surfed he wouldn't catch me, and another by a cute young lady in the audience who admitted to me she wasn't wearing any and was curious if I wasn't either.
I got a lot of "props" from guys who dug the kilt, one guy's girlfriend said that her boyfriend wished he would have worn his kilt after seeing me in mine. I even had one guy yell across the street telling me how cool it was that I was rocking the kilt.
I normally don't get a lot of comments on my wearing it, so it was very cool to have all of the positive reaction. There was not one negative comment the whole of the night.
Anywho, back to the music. Flogging Molly's been around for a long time, and let me just say that they know how to work a crowd. I'd even go as far to say that they're better live than on CD. Just an awesome evening all around.

Good for you, !2S! I'm sorry I missed the concert myself, but I was out of town.
