I am still alive

Rabble,

Just a note to let you guys know that I am still alive and doing as well as can be expected during the recovery of Ice Storm '09. I still do not have power at home so I am doing my internet stuff at home.

There are still alot of folks in Western Kentucky with power and water so I ask for your prayer fro them. Also keep the thousands of people working 16-20 ours a day trying to get the services back on.

Glad to hear it Rev! Some of our guys are getting extra pay and some are volunteering to head your way to get poles set. Stay warm and let us know how it goes.

My pals at the GDP there are having a tough time of it. Lost pert' near a whole week of work and are still not up to full speed.

I wish you all the best of luck. I can sympathize with you all. In December I was one of the many that got hit with the first Ice Storm of the season, right before Christmas. I was without power for well over a week. Thank the Lad above we were some of the first areas to have power back up.It was rather tuff especially with two young Lads. My car almost got totalled as well by one of the hundreds upon, will you get the drift,of trees that came smashing down just missing my car by a mere 1/2 inch

. Literally that close from being crushed. Many homes in my nieghborhood were completely ruined. My home turned into an Artic fridge. All roads out were completely shut down. My Gas stove was quite a friend during that period. You couldn't escape the area to get somewhere safe and warm for a few days. Well my prayers go out to all those suffereing this recent disaster and I hope you all get back to having power as soon as possible.

Appreciate all the kind words guys and gals. There have been some worse off than me but as a whole it has been bad.
