Obviously, I'm not wearing a kilt in the pictures (yes, I am a godless savage), but I wanted to get pictures up asap.
I'm really pleased with the job she did. If you're looking to have a jacket converted for a reasonable price and quick turnaround, PM her. She was a joy to work with.
EDIT: AAARGH -- still working on the posting pics thing. I'll be back later to try it again.

Nothing wrong with that-- it's quite smart! The buttons are very interesting, and a welcome change from the usual chrome squares.

Congratulations. And glad you used interesting buttons.

Very nice jacket. I also like the buttons. A nice change from the usual "silver" or antler buttons.

I got those buttons from buttondrawer.com, a site someone mentioned in another thread. I googled "Celtic buttons" and that site popped up. They've got an entire Celtic collection.
Thanks for the compliments, gents! I'm very excited to wear this with my Macduff Red to Mass on the 15th.
And there's been a ton of talk about folks wanting to get a jacket converted. If you're going to do it, vmac3205 is top-shelf.
Why, a child of five could understand this. Quick -- someone fetch me a child of five!

WELCOME TO Victoria's FAN CLUB. I own 4 of her "creations" ( 2 Tweeds, a "Crail/ with vest, & a vest.)
Besides the GREAT work, I REALLY LIKE the "Epaulets" she puts on her "Tweeds"

That came out great. Quick turn around tae boot. Were you not just speaking of looking for someone to do the job last week ? FAST ! Without skimping on quality. She does EXCELLENT work. That will look splendid with a kilt. Wonderful choice in buttons.

Looks nice. I agree with what others have already stated. The buttons are a refreshing change.
