pink and black tartan?
A coworker asked me today where the guys in her biking club might find kilts in black and pink [to match the women's outfits]. I immediately thought of the 'team kilts' that Sportkilt offers, but they don't have pink as an insert color. I advised her to write and ask whether it was a possibility.
Then I got to wondering whether there was a tartan with primarily pink and black, so I started searching. No luck. However, if anyone knows the answer, it's likely someone who participates in this forum. So, does anyone know of a pink and black tartan?
I guess I could suggest Pink Death camo. Maybe they could wear them with black shirts ...
Thanks, in advance!

There was something about a tartan based upon the Douglas Modern tartan, with the colors switched. It was for Japan. I can't remember the context, search it out, the pinkish-red was supposed to symbolize cherry blossoms. I think, however, that the other color was green, so that wouldn't work.
You can design your own tartan at ScotWeb. If you are looking to outfit a whole club, I'm sure that the price wouldn't be so bad.

Contact Wolfgore at www.celticwarriorkilts.com He offers kilts with contrasting inserts. He could probably do these up.

I seem to remember seeing a kilt on the forum in pink/black/grey camo pattern some time back a few months. Maybe in the kilt don'ts section?

At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

Well, I for one can't see what the problem is. They are obviously wearing them with pride and with honor. (Sarcasm mode off)
