I have been lurking around this site for a few days. Long enough to grasp the general personality of this group and glean valuable information necessary for the purchase of my first kilt. As an wanne-be piper in training I found it necessary to procure a kilt for an upcomming Celtic festival where our band will be staffing a booth.
Baised on the comments and observations here I decided to go with a USA semi-traditional, Black Watch. I think the non-wool alternative will be compatable with the climate where I live.
