I went to play paintball with my sons and several of their friends today for most of the day. It was the first time for me playing kilted, and I am completely sold. I got hit several times in the kilt, NONE of them broke to mark me, and there was less impact pain by far. I am totally sold.

Robert thank you very much for the hemp Rkilt Mach5 I got ! This thing rocks for playing in and works very well in the shop also.

Grant thanks for the inspiration to do this. Now to scheme on the dump pouch sporran and molle idea...

Glad to hear you had a good time. I'll be out tomorrow throwing paint with my team. If you have any sewing abilities it's pretty esy to put MOLLE on. Plenty of directions can be found online.

Glad you're sold on the kilt but alas I sort've knew you would be . MOLLE would be an easy retrofit. It's just horizontal bands of 1" nylon webbing stitched vetically every 1 1/4". I got many of my MOLLE pouches here. Soooo, how many "Hey Man, that's cool" comments did you get from the other players?

Well none, actually Grant. It was almost like the kilt did not exist. No one commented at all. I am all right with that though. I was virtually unscathed, and I took multiple hits. All my kids friends thought it was cool, but they all like me already.
