Army countdown bracelet
I am sure this has been done before, but I thought I would revive the tradition, besides I got tired of people asking me how many days I had until I was retired from the Army, etc. Each bead represents a day that I have left on active duty before I sign out on terminal leave. Pretty soon I will not be able to wear it as a bracelet since I cut a ball off every day.

A bead.
You cut off a bead every day.
What's new in the job hunt?
Regards,
Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

What you are describing is an Engagement to be Married, rather than a discharge from the Army!

I don't think he's engaged. I think he's retiring. ![Evil or Very Mad](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_evil.gif)
I would think that you could arrange it so that the days left are dangling from the wrist, and that way, you could continue cutting it while leaving the part around your wrist intact. Just a thought.
