POLICE OFFICER Your resume is being reviewed
This is promising. The job was posted late May and closed June 4th, it was not until yesterday that the first message appeared and this morning the next message appeared.

Your resume was not referred
WOW! This was fast! From what I understood from the Captain at a previous interview, I would have been good to go; now I wonder why I was NOT selected. I am not able to walk on water just yet.

Police
Greetings Rogerson,
I do not know if this helps you feel any better?
I know many ex military mates of mine that after their service to their country got on in the fire and police departments because of their former training in the military.
The employers like to know that those people can work under extreme pressure if it happens, this is an advantage to those in the civilain world. They also get a lot of experience in these people without having to pay for it themselves!
Best wishes.

Uhh - he didn't get it.
The federal employment system is Byzantine, there could be any number of ridiculous reasons.

Keep with it Chris. Each "no" is a step closer to the "yes." The question isn't "will you be a police officer," the question is "where will you be a police officer."
