Atlanta Cutlery sells knife blanks. Something like $30-40 American for Damascus, $15-30 for carbon and stainless steel.

Incidentally, I was inquiring about having a SOG Pentagon re-hilted as a Sgian Dubh. If anyone has a Cold Steel Culloden for sale---that's not in bad shape---let me know (Lynn Thompson was CRAZY to allow it to be discontinued from my perspective)

i was talking to a friend about it on thursday night and i couldnt find it no matter how hard i tried Ive even been searching for it today with no luck,
he`d hoped to get some blank blades and cut up a stag horn to earn some extra cash with trying his hand at carving and was really looking forward to getting the blades

Be careful with so called Damascus steel. It isn't easy to make or work with and it is easy to offer up faux Damascus. It is costly and anything too cheap probably isn't the real steel.
