Threat of strike by the Royal Mail
What of this? Is this a definite or just a possiblity? How will it effect orders and such in transit or about to be?

The effect so far of 'industrial action' has been to delay orders, and cause people sending things to us for repair to look to other carriers - I suspect that the internal post will not go back to the post office as we have found very competitive rates for parcels and they are collected, rather than me having to get them to the post office.
However, it has not been really bad as yet - the delays have been a couple of days, and not for every region, so items from one county have arrived with things ordered three days later from another part of the country. It is making it necessary to reschedule but just annoying rather than a serious problem, so far.
There could be more serious trouble - but if the problems are resolved everything could be back to normal almost at once.
