IOS Kilt Tragedy Averted
After what seemed like a long wait (it was actually less than expected...but you know the Jonesing feeling)...a package arrived from USAKilts. My wife, who pretends to be fed up with the kilt addiction, threatened to do something beyond awful, beyond drastic....
Thankfully, I intervened in time (she was just kidding anyway, she's the finest lass in the world. I mean, she let me get this kilt, even though we're in "recession mode"). And here's what was inside: Casual IOS kilt, matching flashes (hey, I LIKE matching flashes--whatever anyone else on forum says) and Lovett hose.
This is how it looks from the front
And the pleats
Informal look
And more formal look

I am feeling rather happy
And, besides my lovely lass, I want to thank Riverkilt for recommending the maker and inspiring me with jealousy seeing his IOS. Ron, I hope you don't mind my keeping up with the McDonalds.
And thanks Rocky and crew for a fine product!

An awful fate narrowly avoided! It's good to see the cat wasn't unduly roused during the excitement.
Congrats on the recent acquisitions.

That first picture is hilarious! I love it! It's something my wife would do to me... (Please note- my lovely Mrs is buying me a whole new kilt outfit for Christmas, so she would be about serious as yours!)

I knew she was fooling too....a woman with a tartan skirt would never....right...???
Welcome to the IOS club...a most beautiful tartan for sure that will go well in the woodlands of your mountain.

Very nice! I like that shirt and those hose with it. The colors coordinate perfectly!
