Band of the Irish Guards in Buffalo, New York
I keep forgetting to post this (sorry):
The Band of the Irish Guards
featuring the Pipes, Drums, and Highland Dancers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland (Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders)
will be performing at the University of Buffalo's Center for the Arts on January 28th.
(That's the Thursday following the SOKS Burns Supper)
Ticket and pricing information can be found here: http://www.ubcfa.org/webmodules/even...x?eid=573#573e
I saw the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Scots Dragoons with the Coldstream Guards there two years ago, and the performance was excellent (as were the acoustics - something which can be a problem with pipes indoors).

I wish they were there a week earlier. I'll be in Batavia the previous weekend for a conference. It would have been worth adding another night to the trip.
