    Happy Winter Break!

I know that there are quite a few teachers amid the rabble, so I thought I'd pass along some congratulations to my teaching brethren for making it through the past few weeks and some well wishes for a restful bit of time off.
I finished up classes for the next fortnight at noon today and promptly took myself to the local Scottish pub (via the bookstore) for a shepherd's pie and few pints of Guinness. While not kilted, my MacPherson scarf got me several compliments today.
    Happy holidays everyone!
    Yers aye,
    -Eric-

Will pass your well wishes to my wife, she is a Special Ed teacher grade 3 and 4.

    Enjoy the time off.

MacDuff's in Greenwich. It's my go-to place for bangers & mash or a shepherd's pie. The beer selection is the usual stuff, but at least there's Guinness. No real events, kilted or otherwise. But a good place for a pint or 3.

Ugggghhhh. Not yet and not soon enough. Last teaching day = Friday... Since I'm in Japan, the 24th and 25th are regular working (teaching) days around here. The 23rd is a national holiday (to celebrate the Emperor's birthday) though.

Sure looking forward to the break, however.

Cheers to the teachers, to the lunchroom and kitchen staff, to the custodial people, to the school bus drivers, and the crossing guards!
