New tartan waistcoat and goat hair sporran :)
Hi guys. I was lucky enough to receive 2 packages this week with some great kilt accessories.
The first was a lovely goat hair sporran. It's pretty much a one-off and was made in Ireland. I love the look of it and it will see plenty of wear
The second was a tartan waistcoat by Janet Steward. It was a great price and I'm surprised at how great it looks! Was £25 as I supplied the tartan and buttons. I had it cut at the bias to wear with my Campbell Ancient kilt, and I think it will fit well in many occasions.
If anyone wants a bespoke waistcoat and wishes to supply materials her website is www.janetsteward.co.uk
Sides notes - yes I had a haircut ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
I've been dieting for 2 weeks and have reached my limit of weight loss as my Campbell kilt would no longer fit me if I continued to loose any more weight so I'm planning to maintain it with healthy eating... although I was dying for a Guinness since New Year! So I cracked a can open today!
Cheers!

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

That waistcoat looks absolutely fantastic. And that's one honkin' sporran too! It just reinforces in my mind how wonderful hair sporrans look for normal (i.e. non-piper and non-military) wear. Nicely done, and you look smashing!

Link Correction
Paul,
great waistcoat, I may have to look into one in Gordon when I'm home next week. The correct link to Janet's website is below; she spells her name with a d.
