new acquisition
Just bought this off of ebay for 40 bucks. I've never had one before, thought I might as well give it a try. Any one here worn them, are they anything like a traditional Kilt?

Thanks in advanced for the input.

Not my cup o' tea, but we have quite a few folks here that wear them. I don't think you will find that it's anything like a traditional kilt.
But for 40 bucks, you could turn it for a little profit if you don't dig it.

I got one of those a few months back when UK was having their clearance sale. It is nothing like a trad but it is stylish in its' own way. Mine is a daily wearer and it is comfortable and it gets softer with each wash. This one is a little different from the earlier UK originals as it has buttons up on the waist band. That would allow you to wear it without a belt if you wanted. Mine wasn't quite as good a price as yours but still a great deal. I get lots of compliments and questions about it and generally am very happy with it.

Congratulations. I don 't know much about them. I prefer a traditional kilt.

Wow - for $40 that's a pretty good deal. Nothing like a traditional kilt, of course, except that it has pleats and is unbifurcated. It would be great for messing around the house, working on projects, or anything else where you'd like to be comfortable but not mess up a real kilt.
Do they have more at that price? Can you give me a link via PM?

Fantastic deal for $40. Wish I could find one in my size at that price. Do they have any more? Was this an individual seller or someone with an e-bay store?

I think mine was from an individual seller but I see these listed often from other sellers on ebay.
