Post Great news for the US haggis lovers

well some news folk across the pond might enjoy

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/8477432.stm

apparently the US government is relaxing its restrictions on imported meat which prevent the sale of haggis ,
im not sure of the ins & outs of what the new rules will be but i guess its worth checking on for the future burns nights

    Oh good.

I have often restrained myself from waxing lyrical over the haggis available in my local supermarkets and which I cook from time to time, often with a thick meaty broth as gravy, not being a fan of whisky.

It did seem rather unkind when many on this forum had no access to such puddings.

Haggis is perhaps something to be eaten in moderation, but when one's thoughts fix upon it, nothing else will do.

I had my first taste of Haggis last night it was OK but not my cup of tea. Perhaps it is a acquired taste I will try it again just to be sure.

I still remember the time I brought haggis for my lunch at work. All of my co-workers except one were horrified.
