I'll be there, with family in-tow.

I'll certainly be joining you fellas...maybe we can finally get that photo of Ye Compleat Chicago Rabble in front of the Bean!
Mark, thanks for the photo of the sheeps....what with it being in the "precious" Millennium Park this time, I think that the sheeps will not be making their usual appearance so as not to sully the classy atmosphere. Ditto on any kind of Highland Games stuff. This is going to be very different from what we're used to and, call me a pessimist and a cynic, I'm thinking that it's going to be a bit of a letdown. I may very well make up some buttons saying, "Nae Cabers, Nae Sheeps: Nae Kilties!" I have no idea how much the city is saving by moving this over to Millennium from Grant Park (a distance of about two city blocks for those not familiar with Chicago) but I'm sure that it's going to change things. I can see the savings by not having to close two streets like they did for previous Fests but it's so much more fun with the Heavies, the sheeps and the vendors.
I guess I'm worrying about something that hasn't happened yet but we'll see come Saturday and Sunday. But hang on to that photo because it very well might be the last shot of sheep in a Chicago Lakefront park.

Well, I'm hoping they haven't cut too much. I'm not sure what they save by moving it to Millennium Park. If sheep and cabers aren't there, it will hurt the atmosphere.

We'll be there...
Wife's folks will be in town to see the new baby. Wife and baby will be with me at the Celtic Fest. Looking forward to the Highland Games.
Any specific meet up time and place?

Ah well, another fest missed for me. With Mothers day on Sunday the mums will be at my house for the annual brunch (don't have to go anywhere then They come to us!) which means I'll be spending the Saturday a'cleaning. Sorry lads. Will see you Oak Brook, though, for sure.
Cheers!

We don't have a specific meet up time or place. I'm planning to be there most of the day Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I've already heard from one out of towner who will be there on Sunday. Maybe we should set up a meetup time and place for each day, and those who plan to be there can exchange cellphone numbers via PM in case someone misses the meetup time. I believe I already have Auld Argonian and Brewboys numbers.
I would guess that Saturday will be the big day for a meetup because of Mother's Day (but I say, bring Mother to Celtic Fest).
I would suggest the "BEAN" as the meetup location. Does anyone have a preferred time?
