Good News !
Good news from the Zardoz vortex! I start a nice regular job next week!
I have tried not to make a big deal of it, aside from mentioning when it happened, but without going into the gory details, I have been unemployed without benefits since May 2009.

You will do well sir. No question about it.
Now, with that extra income will soon be time to go KILT SHOPPING!!!!

Congrats! I know exactly where you're coming from. Even though I am finally working full-time (after 4 years being jobless, w/ just a short contract 2 years ago), I still have no benefits, as it's considered a temporary position. I'm hoping to find a (at least semi-) permanent home w/ benefits soon.

Congrats, Zardoz! I guess I hadn't been paying attention; I had no idea you were out of work. What kind of work do you do, if I may ask?

That's such great news! What a feeling of relief you must have!

Rex.
