    deals to be had

    Hi,

I couldn't work out where to put this. So, feel free to move it to a more appropriate place if necessary, mod's.

I found this on ebay, and it looks like there are some real deals to be had-

    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/British-Arm...34Q2ec0Q2em322

(brand new army surplus Black-Watch kilts for 110pound, and diced hose toppers for 20pound).

Hope someone here gets a nice deal,

    Cheers,

    Michael

I contacted them some time ago regarding a horse hair sporran and mailing to Australia, they wanted 45GBP for the P & H, I said no thankyou seeing the usual rate for a sporran is 10 - 13 GBP and that's Royal Mail signed for post.

Are these really surplus items? Also are they good quality?

I'm afraid I can't say anything for the quality/integrity of the products/seller. I just found this while I was browsing.

It seems that, while you get what you pay for on ebay, people also seem to be fairly forthright about the origin of items etc.

You can always email the seller to find out more.

    Good luck !

    Cheers,

    Michael

Yes and Yes. Ministry of Defence goods are made to a standard, not to a price. He is one of my favourite vendors and I have bought from him before.

    Regards

Wow, thanks for the info guys. I guess I will take a closer look at these. Been wanting a Blackwatch kilt for a while. two of my great uncles were in the Blackwatch and want to go tramping in the bush while wearing one.
