Meet the Renaissance Scots Living History Association sword fights
Hello, all! We just posted a few videos on YouTube of fight demonstrations- there are some full speed fights, and some slowed down for demonstration purposes. Thought you all would be interested!

Very interesting I would say! The Lochaber axe in action was quite impressive.

If someone tossed a casaba melon in the air, Nighthawk, how many slices could you make in it before it hit the plate?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I haven't learned the Lochaber yet. Doc is a freakin' monster with that thing, though! And every other weapon at his disposal, including his hands. I'd love to see some dumb punk try to mug that fat old man! What a surprise he would get!

Two. Now Daniel Sorensen, the guy in the grey kilt... He'd have it carved into two flowers! He's the reason I decided to learn how to make leather body armor...

All of you are very brave we were at a Renaissance Faire a few weeks ago and a Knight in full armor was cut very badly in the head doing a similar demonstration.

Well, we'll see you at Highlands Ranch in two weekends, then! I may actually be able to get out and fight at Highlands! I messed up my ankles and haven't gotten to do any at all this season so far.

If we only have one hospitalization a year, it's been a good year. This year (knock on wood!) we have had none.
We actually used to host tournaments a couple times a year. People stopped showing up because we always kicked their... hind ends... Here are some vids of full contact tournament fights.

They guy on the right is Danny, and the guy on the left is Brian. I don't think he ever completely recovered emotionally...

Cool videos.
I was curious, how long has your particular group been around?
