Denim Kilt
Okay -- recognising that it would be more along the lines of a utilikilt than a regular kilt in the purest sense, my wife wants to get me a denim kilt. (Last I checked there wasn't a denim tartan ). Can anyone recommend a resource where I can get one made/ bought off the rack etc etc
Thanks in advance
Tony

Don't think UK makes them anymore.
IF you happen to be my former size I have a previously loved UK blue denim in my closet - well broken in and soft. 42" waist 21 1/2" length. Copper snaps (no waist snaps) UK logo in copper thread on right rear pocket. Jean rivets on the cargo pockets and back pockets. For sale.

Thanks everyone. I setled on Alt.Kilt and fired off an email to them this morning. I want to get it before mid September as I will be moving (to British Columbia!) and want to wear it during the long drive. I'm excited on both counts
BTW - -my wife is the best for wanting me to get what will be kilt number 5!

You might look at Flamingo Kilts.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

It's here! I was so excited -- my wife was so excited -- that I put it on and forgot to put on my boots for the picture.
'tis a grand one!
Can't wait to spend 10 days kilted in British Columbia next month and fly wearing this puppy!

Nice Kilt
Jeanie does great work, I have one of her kilts as well. It's also nice to know all the kilts are unique. Sure someone else could order one in denim but they buttons won't be the same or the cargo pockets, or some other feature.

Throw up a post when you get to BC! There are a fair few of our X-markers residing around the province, and I'm sure more than just I will be wishing to welcome you!
