Fun with baby nephew...and his kilt!

My little nephew will celebrate his first birthday on Sept. 27. I got him a kilt (I think it may have been from one of our x-markers, I don't quite remember) a long while back. As he was born two months early and was quite tiny, his kilt is still a bit big, but we've had him in it...he is just now to the point where we could probably do a little tweaking and have it fit (put it on him last week!). He loves wearing it as we hear a true Scot would ...but we only let him do it for a short time before putting a diaper on him...we didn't want his kilt to get wet!

So, as any good auntie would do, I've made him a balmoral, sporran, belt and buckle and tie to go along with his kit. I can't wait to see him in his new attire! I may not get to see him this weekend because I have a cold coming on, but I'll be sure to get some photos of him.

Jacob is VERY happy, healthy, and smart, by the way! It is fun to watch him grow.
