Bull Denim
I was looking at trying my hand at an xkilt, (and probably a matching AK style sporran) so I went to JoAnn's to look at their bottomweights. I wanted something heavier than my utilikilts, as it is starting to get cooler, and being this close to the lake, we see some fairly strong gusts in the spring and fall. (My hands have dropped quickly to maintain modesty a few times over the last few weeks). What I ended up with was bull denim (pine green) with a nice selvedge. I was wondering if anyone has any tips for working with this stuff before I get started. (still waiting on the sewing machine to arrive, it'll be useful for many projects)
