Well, I've finally completed (and gotten pictures uploaded of) the Johnston Box Pleat. It's been out and about a couple of times:

The next project? I've been working on a tartan based on a long-out-of-use grant of arms made to an ancestor after he saved the Freiherr von Adelsheim's life in the 1530 peasant revolts. My grandfather became long standing friends of the current Freiherr, and so was fond of them, though of course never used them as personal arms. They look like this:


I've been working on a tartan based on these, which I just got a sample woven of, and I like. I think that might be the next project in line:
