Silent Jonesing
I've been secretly Jonesing as I have been awaiting the arrival of my new tweed Argyle jacket and waistcoat which I had ordered from our esteemed forum and Freedom Kiltsowner, Steve Ashton. The jacket fits and looks great. It was well worth what Steve charged me for a custom fitted jacket.
Completing the order took a bit of doing as emails between Steve and myself kept getting lost in cyberspace, and I wound up using several different communications methods, including multiple email accounts, the Xmarks PM system and even installing Skype on my computer. But Steve kept working with me and we eventually got it done. I've sent a PM to Steve (Wizard of BC) to let him know it arrived and I'd like to publicly thank Steve for his hard work and especially his patience in helping me with my order. Steve even made several long distance phone calls to me at his expense.
I can't post pictures yet because number 1 I have to go start getting ready for my senior golf group banquet, and most importantly,number2, my old Fuji Finepix digital camera uses 6 AA alkaline batteries which it eats at a prodigious rate unless I remember to remove them after each use Of course, I didn't do that after the Meadows Highland Games so they are as dead as the proverbial doornail now. I'll pick up some while I'm in town tonight.
