    Glenmore Hose back in stock

The "Glenmore" hose are back in stock! These are the inexpensive hose by House of Cheviot that are cool wearing, good quality, and affordable. We had these in stock previously in ancient green only, but had been sold out for a while.

We now have a small stock, in sizes M and L, in ancient green, lovat blue, and charcoal.

I don't have the blue or charcoal photographed yet, but they are pretty standard colors. I wanted to go ahead and let you know they were available so that folks could take advantage of our "free shipping" offer which runs through Dec. 1.

I put them on the shelf myself yesterday afternoon, so unless we just had an absolute mad rush on them between 5pm yesterday and now they should be in stock and ready for immediate shipping. I'll check into it.

Just checked with the store and they are being shipped out to you today. The email you received was in error, sorry about the confusion.

No problem I didn't need for Christmas just checking so it doesn't happen to some other hapless customer.

Speaking of kilt hose I am wearing a pair from STM with my Hunting MacNaughton 4 yard box pleated kilt made by Matt Newsome in these photos (heavy weight H of Edgar cloth). A very comfortable kilt, well made and a joy to wear. As many would know there is a connection beween the MacNaughton and Graham clans with the Graham once wearing the MacNaughton tartan as a "red" tartan and I wore the Graham as a "green" tartan as the MacNaughton did not have a hunting tartan until the Homecoming and H of E designers got busy, and... I could not resist so I called upon the able skills of Matt Newsome!

Great pictures of the kilt, Graeme, thanks for sharing!

But just to clarify, those hose you are wearing look to be our standard hose (in lovat green), not the Glenmore hose.

Nice. That's a beautiful tartan and an excellent kilt. You were it well.

    And Matt: Nice job.
