    Not your ordinary kilt pic

    One of the first events to which I wore my kilt was my department's Christmas luncheon. Afterwards my admin assistant (formerly a professional photographer) asked me to "pose" for a pic as part of her 365/365 (at least one pic per day for a year) project. Here is the result:

    Nice one.
    Did you need to starch the kilt so that it would stay in place while you jumped up and down?

    Looks like an advert from back in the sixties or seventies...the timelessness of the kilt certainly adds to that effect.

    I am reminded of the portraitist Phillipe Halsman who always asked his subjects to jump at the end of the "serious" part of a portrait sitting.
