Popping Kilt Hose
I'm knitting a pair of kilt hose for Mark's kilt for the Prom. I am a beginner knitter so I thought I would try using the Folkwear pattern. I was unsure whether I could actually figure out how to knit them, but so far, so good. I had a hard time finding inexpensive solid-color wool yarn in something to match the Hay Modern tartan, so I compromised by choosing claret and lovat/sage green as the main colors of the argyle. They are really going to pop! The lines on the argyle are going to be yellow and white. The cuffs are solid claret. Any opinions on whether these will be suitable for wearing with the Prince Charlie and the kilt?
