Hello again, from South Carolina, by way of Afghanistan.
Hello all!
I joined a couple of years ago, and was participating here on the boards for a good while. Was even a member when I was able to purchase my first kilt, a USAK Casual Kilt in the Clarke tartan. Then life sort of got in the way what with the kids and the job, and I kind of dropped off the forums.
I still managed to wear the kilt though, so much so that the Hungarian grandmother, of my wife's friend, continuously refers to me as "The Scots!" when talking to her family.
I'm over here in Afghanistan for a while, and find myself with time to surf the web again, and thought I'd renew my acquaintance
When I finally get done with this job over here, and get back stateside, I think I'll be making a trip up to North Carolina, to get a Tank made, maybe two!
Anyway, for those of you who recall me, hello again! For those who don't, Heyas!!

Hey I remember you! Good to hear from you.
Stay safe over there and thank you for everything you are doing in Afghanistan.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Welcome from the lower end of the state. My son is currently serving in that neck of the woods where you are now. Thank you for standing the watch!
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.
